Behind the MyDetroitHustle movement is Detroit hip hop veteran OG-10.
With a recording career that dates back to the 1990s, OG-10 has witnessed and participated in nearly every era of Detroit hip hop history. Originally known as Mac-10, his single “Soul On A Roll” became a cult classic and the vinyl has since become a highly sought-after collector’s item. Later performing as The 10, he continued building a reputation as a respected voice in the underground.
Today, as OG-10, his focus has evolved from simply making music to building platforms, supporting artists, and documenting the culture.
Through MyDetroitHustle.com, OG-10 highlights the world’s hottest underground, independent and unsigned hip hop through interviews, curated playlists, radio rotation, blog content, and video features on My Detroit HustleTV. His mission is simple: shine light on dope artists and help move the culture forward.
While he considers himself semi-retired as a recording artist, OG-10 still drops music when the moment feels right. But these days his biggest contribution to the culture is creating opportunities, sharing game, and building a platform that supports the next generation of independent hip hop.
