Why Pretty Bulli is on the way to making independent music millions
When I find an artist who I think is talented and they seem to be cool people, I tend to follow them closely. The longer I follow them, the more I feel like I know them and want to see them win. I find myself feeling like I know them even though I may have only shared a couple of words with them on social media. When I see them win, I enjoy it as much as I would if it was my win. An artist like Pretty Bulli, whom I’ve been covering for over a year is an example of this dynamic. When I finally sat down to interview her, it was like I was talking with one of my homegirls who grew up down the block from me. Check out the interview with the 716 Lyricist of the Year and get the details about this amazing hot streak she’s on right now, including spitting bars live of “Sway in the Morning” for RZA of the Wu Tang Clan.

Big Bruh Interview Part 1
I recently had the chance to chop it up with recording artist Big Bruh who hails from VA. The state of Virginia has produced some major contributors to hip hop culture. Big Bruh aims to be the next one. In our discussion we addressed his projects “Legacy” and “Destiny,” as well as working with the producer of Rick Ross’ “Blowin Money Fast,” Lex Luger. Part 1 of our discussion is now available on our YouTube channel, My Detroit HustleTV. If you ever have any issues finding it, just type MyDetroitHustleTV6438 in the YouTube search bar and it will pop right up.
@MyDetroitHustleTV6438
First of all, I want to thank you YouTube. Our growth on YouTube has been severely stunted. We have been growing steadily on all platforms and the site gets plenty of traffic, but why not YouTube? Well, for some reason our handle, My Detroit HustleTV, was not easy to find. The actual link to our YouTube page had been a long sequence of numbers, letters and symbols so when you search for us on YouTube you actually had to do a bit of digging. Now things are much easier. We’ve been assigned an official handle-@MyDetroitHustleTV6438. When you type that in the YouTube search bar the channel comes right up. Please click on it and subscribe. As you should expect, we will be campaigning to get the new YouTube handle out there.
The Criteria
“The Criteria “ breaks down the process I go through when deciding what and who to cover on MyDetroitHustle.com. It’s kind of an informational piece to answer the many inquiries I get. I’m a sucker for the combination of a strong product and a strong hustle. Also, on this video we have some free game about using social media to find out about people so you have an idea what they are about before you get too involved with them. Last but not least, more free game to help people out here looking for jobs. Check the video out, subscribe to the channel and leave a comment. Thank you and enjoy!
How to Promote Your Music or Product
This video is about a very important tip for people trying to market their music or products. It seems like common sense, but you wouldn’t believe how many people don’t do this. Check out the video to see a common mistake people make when trying to market their music. The next segment of the video is about a trend I’ve noticed on the independent hip hop scene. What is it? There are a lot of ill female MC’s out here. I talk about four of my favorites, Pretty Bulli, Indigo Phoenyx, Nejma Nefertiti and Aida. On the last segment, I use an encounter with Big-T Beatz to express the importance of good customer service. I hope you enjoy the video.
